Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th 1962) is an American actress from America. Her film debut was in the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as a member of the Brat Pack group of actors. She also appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award Best Female leading for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy is an American writer and actress. Sheedy began her acting career in the film Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. The film's first big success was the catalyst for her to make an appearance in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama in 1985. John Hughes' film is considered to be one of the top high school film of all time. Although the budget was just $1 million its earnings crossed the mark of $50 million. Between then she started appearing on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first TV appearance. The show was targeted at teens and started in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are a few of the other series in where she's been featured. Her most recent appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse an action film featuring the superhero X-Men where she is in a role as a guest. Sheedy received numerous prizes in 2005 for her work. She was also awarded an MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
