Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been an acclaimed American cookbook author over the seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa, which started in 2002. Ina Garten began her professional career at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget documents. While she initially found the work interesting, she soon became bored. So she purchased the Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food shop. It took her 18 years to turn the store into wildly successful, before she sold the business. After that, she started writing her first cookbook. Many magazines and cookbooks followed. Meanwhile her Food Network television show too began its run and was an instant hit. The company also offers a wide range of items ranging from cooking materials as well as storage containers and equipment. Ina never went to any cookery schools nor was she employed at a restaurant. Ina is a self-taught cook. Her name is associated with her casual approach to cooking and entertaining. Her most famous recipes are Skillet-Roasted lemon chicken, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
